Almond Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 3T Olive oil
  • 2 t Dijon mustard
  • 3T Nuts Over Fish® Almond Topping
  • 1/8 C chopped, sliced or slivered almonds

Makes 4 Servings

  1. Cook the green beans in boiling water until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Drain beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of cold water, cooling them completely. (this process will keep the green beans vibrant green)
  3. Whisk together olive oil and Dijon mustard.
  4. Add mixture to skillet and heat, add beans, and toss until beans are coated.
  5. Add “Nuts Over Fish” Almond topping and continue to toss until heated through about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Transfer to Serving platter. Sprinkle with the chopped, sliced, or slivered almonds.
