Macadamia Jalapeno Shrimp & Plum Poppers Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 6 Jalapeno Peppers sliced in half lengthwise, seeds removed
  • 4oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 T heaping of Nuts Over Fish® Macadamia Topping
  • 1 T cilantro chopped

Makes 12 Servings

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese and Nuts Over Fish® Macadamia Topping.
  3. Fill each half of jalapeno with cream cheese mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with cilantro.
  5. Add one or all of the options below to top off jalapeno.
    Options:
    12 medium size shrimp peeled, deveined, uncooked
    6 slices bacon cut in half, uncooked
    1 plum slice small enough to fit in jalapeno half

    Top with shrimp alone, top with plum alone, top with plum and shrimp.
    Wrap in bacon with just cream cheese mix or top with shrimp and or plum, and then wrap in bacon.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
